Another Warrior Disrupter [2 versions now :)]
These warriors are nicely customizable, 'too many conditions you cheater', type melee masters.
Strength: 10 (61) Axe Mastery: 10+2 (61) Swordsmanship: 1 (1) Tactics: 3+1 (6) Blood Magic: 10 (61) Curses: 4 (10) Dismember Axe Rake Executioner's Strike* Sprint Victory is Mine (elite) Life Siphon Enfeebling Blood* Plague Touch Well, from a previous build, that worked quite well I might add, this one is more of a Victory is Mine "engine". There's even a swordsmanship version [same stats, but move the axe mastery stats to swordsmanship skills listed below.] From what's seen here, Dismember, Axe Rake, Enfeebling Blood, and Plague Touch will cause a nice round 4 conditions to feed to Victory is Mine!. This should be done when you have no energy and your hp is dipping. What's neat about Enfeebling is that if more than one melee jumps on you, u just slapped a condition on all of them [there's a chance they might not notice you casting or they forgot to bring interrupts] That's a LOT of hp back ^_^ Since it's got 4 stats each in Tactics and Curses, you're more versatile in their usage [ViM! for me is a permanent one but I might swap out Enfeebling Blood for other neat curses: Insidious Parasite, Rend Enchantments: 'da bomb' for enchantment killing] Executioner's strike can be switched with Disrupting Chop. The Swordsmanship version [no hammer version I could possibly come up with sadly]: Sever Artery Gash Hamstring* Sprint Victory is Mine! (elite) Life Siphon Enfeebling Blood* Plague Touch [that's right, FIVE nasty conditions total] Hamstring can be replaced with Savage Slash to interrupt and do massive damage on spellcasters. known strengths: Sword/axe have fastest attack speeds so speed stances aren't too necessary. With so many conditions to repel, enemy will need skill bar space for removal. Weakness on a mob of melee means you survive a lot longer, good synergy. ViM! is very difficult to stop, so it can be the other heal with Life Siphon Should someone nerf your damage, your conditions will carry through. If you get conditions, Plague Touch can pay them back [and feed ViM!] The spells are 10energy tops so it's somewhat energy friendly. Target Containment - each build has both a speed and snare skill. my preference: axe, since too many people use swords and I like chopping. weaknesses: If your attack speed drops, landing your adrenaline based conditions drops. Missed/blocked hits will stop adrenaline buildup as well. Interruption of Life Siphon/Enfeebling Blood can hurt quite a bit. Extremely brutal damage [like getting hit by 300+ dmg] is good against it since it regens more than instant healing. All of the weaknesses thankfully can be overcome by helpful backup of mesmers and monks. If you've got a team that will remove any obstacle that keeps you from hitting at full speed 100% of the time, your prey is as good as dead. I think I'll try to come up with a useful N/R Minion Lord now. But for the last betas [all of them] I REALLY like the W/N. I don't know, he's just "dark knight of dewm" or someting to me. ^_^ I just wish vampiric touch didn't cost soo much, else I'd use it more often. Hope this helps add to the fever that is W/N! |
